Back stabbing. Directors voting on resolutions that they are interested in. Board over stepping its authority. Independent directors who are not independent.

The Tatas are now officially “disputed property”. Lawyers will make a lot of money.

At some level, I feel that this adversity will bring out the best in someone like Noel Tata. This case will also test the ethical fabric of the legal system.

And conclusively prove if common sense works. The Tata Trusts own 64% of Tata Sons. SP Group owns say 18%. How does someone become a Director or even continue as a Director if he is not backed by or supported by the majority shareholders.

We haven’t seen the worst of this yet. Today was on expectesd lines.

I don’t really get what is being attempted. And how the Chandrasekhar Venu .. trio think they can take over a company against the wishes of the majority shareholders.

The Phantom of the Opera moves in the shadows. But now we have IR cameras to see into the night. The broadway show is far from over. Expect a lot of entertainment.

As we go into the next season of the soap opera – a whole can of worms will open up
