The reason India is going to win is not because we have the best accountants but because we have the best IT services people and engineers. CAs – whether big4 or otherwise – are well past their half life. Ai finalised their expiry date.
Just like a new age bank is really an IT company. A new age Big4 type entity will really be a data security and ai company.
CAs have become irrelevant and so has icai and the big4. It is a matter of time before they get subsumed by ai.
The age now demands SuperCAs. They will mostly be a machines run by engineers.
