GO intracity solar airconditioned bus

GO intracity solar airconditioned bus.
Is the size and comfort of a luxury car.
Runs door to door. As an EV shared taxi

In the days of horse carriages, early cars resembled carriages. Just that the horse was missing. Electric cars suffer from the same issue – legacy form factor and migration challenges. It has been a five year journey for the GO platform to navigate these challenges. And to invent a form factor that works.

Let’s start with the specs:

1. Thirty year design life
Completely non corroding materials
Modular and upgradeable

2. Walk in and out of vehicle
Hump in the centre
Without sacrificing ground clearance

3. Ease of driving
Gearless electric drive
ADAS 3. 360 deg 4W shift

4. Capital cost
Less than equivalent petrol vehicle
Operating cost minimal. Rs 15 lacs on road

5. Driving range
200 kms per charge. 500 per day
100 second charging from 0 to 90%

6. Seating capacity
Ten people including optional driver
Payload to dead weight 1:1

7. Safety
Zero chance of battery fire.
All passenger airbags

8. Airconditioning
Solar roof to power Aircon
High efficiency tandem cells

9. Drivetrain
Fully electric high voltage
In wheel motors. 125 kw each

10. Dimensions
6m long, 1.8m wide, 2.1m max height
Max speed of 250 kph

The GO as the shared electric taxi is called will be launched as a concept vehicle in the Auto Expo 2027. Automobile manufacturers are sought for licensed manufacturing in various countries including China.

It is probably the first serious contender from India for a place among EV winners.

Green completely
Fully wireless instant charging
60 KWH storage. Carbon fibre body.
750 kg payload. 1500 kg total weight max.

Primary use case is intra city passenger and cargo transport. Vehicle has a neuromorphic on board edge ai with satellite connectivity and stereoscopic vision. Boot space is in the front and acts as collision impact safeguard. Dichroic glass with user settable transparency. Solar roof with 3 KW power plant. Cop10 heat pump / aircon. Double walled vaccum windows.

The Vehicle code named IQ01 is designed for 500 kms per day / 30 year useful life with a battery warranty of 10 years.

Urban transport should behave like the internet: Modular, Distributed & Demand-responsive

Not like a 1970s state monopoly on wheels.

If cities replace low-utilisation big buses with dense networks of ultra-compact electric shared taxis, they get: Lower subsidies, Higher ridership, Faster electrification & Happier streets

Electrification alone isn’t innovation.
Right-sizing is.

An electric vehicle has no reason to look like a diesel bus or a petrol car. The same design theme has to extend to hydrofoil yachts, electric planes and refrigerated cargo vans.
