Trumps ability to hog headlines.
Is really impressive. He has learnt.
The worse the news, more the TRP

Donald Trump should be given every single award that exists for being media personality of the year 2025. No film star, sports player or scamster comes even remotely near. I am all admiration for the man who says everything without knowing anything, scares everyone without killing anyone and is king of the planet for whose health he cares a hoot. One can but be all appreciation for him. Even in India, he generates more controversy than Sunny Leone or Rakhi Sawant and more amusement than Kapil Sharma or Archana Puran Singh. No one loves him yet everyone envies him. Now here is the latest:

The End of the Post-1945 Global Order? Trump’s Board of Peace Signed in Davos
This was yesterday.

Yesterday marked a seismic shift in international relations: the signing of the “Board of Peace” charter in Davos. As detailed in Shanaka Anslem Perera’s insightful analysis, this isn’t just a peace body—it’s a new American-led security framework that bypasses the UN, with Donald Trump as lifetime Chairman holding absolute veto power for life.

Key highlights:

• Pay-to-Play Structure: Nations pony up $1 billion for permanent seats; others get renewable terms at the Chairman’s discretion.
• From Gaza to Global: What began as a limited Gaza reconstruction mandate (via UN Resolution 2803) has morphed into unlimited authority over any conflict zones worldwide—no sunset clause.
• Membership Divide: Signatories include Albania, Argentina, Bahrain, Egypt, Hungary, Israel, Saudi Arabia, UAE, and more (about 35 committed). Rejections from France, Germany, UK, Nordics—citing concerns over sovereignty and UN replacement.
• Implications for Business: This formalizes a “franchise” model of global security, potentially repricing sovereign risks and capital allocations.

Trump himself said: “Once this board is completely formed, we can do pretty much whatever we want to do.” A bold new era or a risky concentration of power?

It reminds me of the Dons of Mumbai. They didn’t go around killing every day. They just had to execute a couple of really loud murders in broad daylight. And make sure the press attributed them to the don. Doesn’t matter if he was not involved or didn’t know about them. Now the extortion machinery was alive. Anyone receiving a call from Dubai would be shitting bricks. They didn’t have to kill to collect. One call was enough. And the ransom came by mail. Or cash delivered. It was brilliant.

And who were their clients. It was mostly large MNCs. The havala bank was their largest customer. The neighbourhood grocer didn’t hire them. They had elaborate contracts executed in Linchenstein type locations. And they got paid by Swift. The ransom was shared.

This is scarily similar.

Just like life insurance is a nicer word for death insurance, board of peace is really board of war.Activate to view larger image,
